Management of family owned companies
For family owners of business corporations it is a key skill to succeed transferring the management responsibility to external professionals. As new Chairman of the Board of Kohberg Bakery Group, I have lined up a new board team with the required key skills, simplified the organizational structure, set a new top management team and thus created the platform for a new Kohberg Bakery Group offensive.

Strategy creates results and recognition
Consistent and professional strategy work creates faster and better results, as well recognition from both customers and business partners. At Logstrup, who manufactures switch- and control gear solutions, they have emphasized strategy work and thoroughly monitored strategic actions over the past years. They have obtained new customers with tough quality demands, like facebook’s first data center outside the U.S. Recently, Logstrup was recognized by the financial sector by winning Nordea Bank’s Business Award 2012.

Enlarged board portfolio
Board work has also increased during the year. Besides Kohberg Bakery Group I am now Chairman of the Board at Mobil2 AB and the mother company SAB Holding A/S, a Swedish mobile start-up. It is an exciting opportunity to influence the development of the Swedish mobile market, which so far has been dominated by the classical mobile operators with their own networks.

I have recently joined the board of the Norwegian mobile company Ventelo AS, which together with the sister company Broadnet AS, makes up the private equity firm EQT Partners’ Telco investments in the Norwegian market.
