Kohberg offensive
Kohberg aims to be the customers’ preferred supplier of bread, no matter where they buy or enjoy it. To achieve this, Kohberg merges all in all 4 companies into one strong company and assigns a new CEO who knows the industry in depth and has a proven track record.

The new top executive is Morten Hellesen, who will join Kohberg Bakery Group as CEO on November 13, 2012. He has 20 years of experience within fast moving consumer goods, of which 8 years as CEO for the main competitor Schulstad, and recently he was Group CEO with Danæg, the leading Danish supplier of fresh eggs.

The four companies that are merged under the name of Kohberg Bakery Group are the mother company with the same name, and the three subsidiaries, Kohberg Brød A/S, Kohberg Foodservice A/S and H.C. Andersen Bagergården A/S.
Going forward Kohberg Bakery Group consists of 3 divisions, Kohberg Consumer Foods, which will serve retail customers, Kohberg Foodservice, which will service the professional market, and Kohberg Bakeries covering all bakeries and supply chain functions, serving all customer segments. Product development and quality are grouped in joint staff functions together with Finance, IT and HR.
Kohberg Bakery Group is owned by the KOFF Group. CEO Jesper Fogtmann has since December 2011 as well been CEO in Kohberg Bakery Group in order to prepare the simplification and strengthening of the group announced today.

Kohberg Bakery Group had revenues 2011 of 976 DKKm and a total of 597 employees. Headquarter in Bolderslev close to Aabenraa and bakeries in Bolderslev, Haderslev (both in Southern Jutland) and Taastrup (Copenhagen area).
